Job Responsibilities
- Equities trading experience.
- Good understanding of the market mechanics of equities trading in APAC regional markets, UK, and US markets knowledge beneficial.
- Knowledge of CFDs and Margin (Contracts for difference) beneficial.
Trading role and responsibilities
- Experience in order placement of equities orders DMA (mkt, limits) and Algo (VWAP, TWAP, Volume) beneficial.
- Experience in using electronic trading platforms for order placement (Iress and Bloomberg including EMSX experience beneficial).
- Monitor and respond to clients via email, Bloomberg IB chat and Reuters Eikon.
- Handle client queries regarding trading (order rejections/fills) checking of audit trails and FIX logs.
- Process/book client give-up’s, liaising with operations, brokers and clients where required.
- Maintain relationships with CGS's brokers and prime brokers.
- Monitor client gross exposure and free equity limits.
- Manage client stock loan borrow requests.
- Setup of new stock instruments – liaising with Ops and Risk.
- Execute FX transactions for clients as part of managing their multi-currency accounts.
- UAT and Prod testing of new banks, brokers for trading, some knowledge of FIX beneficial.
Account management
- Deal with client queries and questions in relation to end of day statements/reports, liaising with Operations team where required.
- Answer questions in relation to corporate actions, liaising with operations where required.
- Manage payment process for client funds in/out.
- Detail with any issues relating to failing trade settlements, liaising with brokers and internal operations team as required.
Other
- Proficient in the use of Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communicator and builder of relationships (employees, brokers, clients).

Job Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in any discipline
- 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Excel Macros
- Team Player, Jovial and Positive Attitude
- Able to speak English and Mandarin to liaise with our Chinese counterparts
