RETAIL SUPERVISOR (F&B)

Sembawang Confectionery is a traditional cake shop, opened in 1968. Committed to bringing our customers freshly baked bread with a traditional taste.

We are urgently hiring for Retail Supervisor to join us.

Job Description

• Assist in managing the overall operations of the production process including quality standards assurance, maintenance and logistics.
• Plan and organise staff, and production capacity to optimize the output level.
• Assist in documentation and monitoring of output and productivity level by analyzing data.
• Assist in reviewing standards of operating procedures, production standards and food hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Ensure consistency of the high maintenance standards of equipment cleanliness and the general housekeeping of the food production environment.
• Keep abreast with development in the food management system, hygiene and food technology.
• Ensure adherence to Food Safety standards and monitor compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist to source for cost-saving supplies, purchasing dried goods and packaging materials, ensure good inventory control and efficient waste management.
• Assist to implement sustainable cost-effective projects to support Company’s commitment to responsible business practices.
• Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure the finished products are handled with proper care and delivered to the customers timely and orderly.
• Provide training to the team on an on-going basis to help improve the overall standards of operations and production.
• Logistics support as required.
• Undertake relevant tasks as and when assigned by the Manager as required.
• Adhoc duties assigned in production as necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE N or O level
• Strong supervisory skills and ability to manage and lead a team.
• Must have relevant retail experience, preferably from bakery background.
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to manage POS and other cashiering related equipment.
• Service oriented.
• Possess Food hygiene certificate (if possible)
• Must be able to work on weekends.

Working hours

• Full-time position
• 6 days work per week
