JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for procurement activities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate manage and maintain the procurement of capital and expense good and services
• Solicit competitive proposals from qualified suppliers
• Determine lowest total cost solution
• Develop maintain and manage purchase orders
• Coordinate purchase process, negotiation and release of purchase order
• Provide support to the supplier audit process
• The point of contact for procurement process between rig and vendor(s)
• Communication between rig and vendors for clarification of correct goods
• Communicate updates to assist overall operations / project coordination, cost control and scheduling
• Negotiate purchasing agreements
• Coordinate between export packer and freight forwarder to ensure accuracy of export documentation
• Expedite all open or past due purchase orders
• Manage the logistical process whereby goods are received, prepare for export and deliver to AIR or OCEAN transport carriers.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in any field
• Minimum 5 years of related experience
• Experience with offshore drilling equipment.
• Excellent communication and writing skills both in English & Mandarin to communicate with Chinese Stakeholders in China.
• Able to multi-task in high stress environment
• Highly detail oriented, good organizational skills
Experience working on ERP systems; AMOS / COIBID / SAP
