Warehouse Assistant cum Class 3 Driver

Job Description

• Position: Warehouse Assistant cum Class 3 Driver
• Well Established Local Test Laboratory
• 5 Days Work Week (9:00am – 6:00pm)
• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $2,600 Performance Bonus
• Outpatient Medical & Dental Benefits Provided
• Duration: Permanent

Main Responsibilities:

• Samples receiving (Customers send the samples to our office).
• Loading and unloading of the metal samples by using a forklift.
• Allocate and prepare samples (unboxing, repositioning, labelling) for the next process.
• Verify sample identification matches the client request or client documentation.
• Send/ collect the samples to or from the workshop department.
• Set up a good storage place and system to track samples.
• Proper labeling and storage of samples from Customers.
• Prepare sample to be returned - wrap and pack samples.
• Liaise with Test Dept to consolidate tested specimens for return to Customers.
• Collect and deliver samples to customers or vendors.
• Send or pick up colleagues from site jobs.
• Other ad-hoc duties as required by the head of department.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Singapore Class 3 Driving License.
• Have at least 1 year of relevant working experience.
• Preferably with a forklift license (added advantage but not compulsory).
