The Business Analyst is key in defining, managing, and implementing changes within the organisation. The Business Analyst must elicit, analyse, refine, validate and formally document business requirements, so that an optimal solution to the requirement can be identified and implemented. For smaller initiatives the Business Analyst will also play the role of Project Manager
Job responsibilities:
Business Analysis
Interface with stakeholders to identify detailed requirements
Conduct AS-IS processes/systems and design TO-BE state
Perform data analysis to cleanse and standardize data whilst ensuring quality and consistency
Liaises with service providers to ensure understanding of requirements and limitations of solutions
Write / document detailed user stories, business requirements, impact assessments and functional specifications
Work with Technology to translate detailed business requirements, impact assessments and functional specifications into future state system specifications
Partner with Architecture team to ensure optimal design
Prepare test strategy and approach and oversee or carry out test execution and coordinate testing
Plan, test and control deployment and verification process
Support Change Management activities and Implementation support
Act as BA & PM for smaller proejct delivery
Degree level or higher
5-7 yrs Financial Services BA experience (asset management desirable)
Positive attitude and collaborative mindset Fluency in both written and spoken English.
Has strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively and proactively with external and internal stakeholders.
Understands defined Project Management methodologies and frameworks.
Experience in working as a business analyst within the banking, insurance and asset management industry would be an advantage.
Familiar with Asian local market and regulatory practice.
Is self-motivated, self-driving and independent.
Attentive to detail and able to handle ambiguity.
Experienced in using business analyst methods such as flow charting, requirements capturing, stakeholder analysis, use cases, brainstorming, solution prototyping, and traceability.
