The Information Division focuses on capabilities and technologies that enables the SAF to harness and exploit information in the battlefield. Capability areas include cyber security, data analytics and fusion, artificial intelligence, robotics autonomy, manned- unmanned system teaming, and vulnerabilities assessments and operations research.

You will perform research and development in the area of communications technologies. The work will require you to have an interest and understanding of basic digital communications theory and concept, communication system design, analysis and simulation, so as to support the development of advanced leading edge communications systems able to perform under adverse condition. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to learn and keep pace with latest technology development especially in the areas of wireless and mobile communications. You will have ample opportunity to collaborate and work with researchers and collaborators in Universities and in related topics.
Communications Engineer
In this role, you will:
- Perform R&D on communications technologies
- Involved in digital communications, communication system design, analysis and simulation, and the development of actual communications system that can perform under adverse conditions
- Involved in the latest development in communications technologies, in areas such as wireless and mobile communications
Requirements
- Master / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering / Communication Engineering
- Knowledge of digital communications technologies, theories and concepts
- Knowledge of digital system design and analysis
