Corporate Communications Senior Manager / Manager

Company Overview: The Energy Market Authority (“EMA”) will be centralising the procurement of natural gas to enhance the security, reliability, price competitiveness and stability of natural gas supply for the Singapore power sector, as part of Singapore’s energy transition. A new corporate entity will be set up to be responsible for the centralised procurement of natural gas. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Corporate Communications and Branding Senior Manager / Manager for the corporate entity.

Job Summary:

The Corporate Communications and Branding Manager or Senior Manager is responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies that promote the Gasco's brand, narrative, enhance its reputation, and engage stakeholders. This role involves managing internal and external communications, overseeing branding initiatives, and ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies to support the company's goals and objectives.
• Manage the company's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials and communications.
• Oversee the creation and distribution of press releases, media kits, and other public relations materials.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure cohesive messaging and branding.
• Monitor and analyze media coverage and public perception of the company.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key media contacts and stakeholders.
• Plan and execute internal communication initiatives to engage and inform employees.
• Manage social media presence and online reputation.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Handle crisis communication and develop contingency plans.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Preferably with banking and commodity derivatives background
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to develop and implement successful communication strategies.
• Experience managing social media platforms and online reputation.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or branding
