Job Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Ensure adherence to asset management regulations across relevant jurisdictions.
• Monitor cloud environments to optimize performance, cost-efficiency, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and implement cloud-native solutions.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve cloud-related issues in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud infrastructure, processes, and best practices.
• Stay informed about emerging cloud technologies and industry trends.
• Administer cloud environments in alignment with company policies and compliance standards.
• Write, deploy, and debug Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Provide support to internal users and stakeholders, offering expert cloud-related guidance and recommendations.
• Leverage strong analytical and problem-solving skills to proactively identify and resolve challenges.
• Lead knowledge-sharing initiatives and educate teams on new cloud technologies and best practices.
• Conduct periodic reviews of existing systems and recommend enhancements or optimizations.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in cloud engineering, with a strong emphasis on Google Cloud Platform.
• Prior experience working in the financial services industry is highly preferred.
• Solid knowledge of cloud security, networking, and cost optimization.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and associated toolchains.
• Understanding of asset management regulations and compliance standards.
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Relevant cloud certifications, such as Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, are a plus.
