Job Responsibilities
Provide trauma-informed casework and counselling to support healing and resilience in children, youths and their families
Conduct assessments and home visits to understand clients’ needs and environments.
Manage end-to-end casework , including assessments, intervention planning, follow-ups, and crisis support.
Conduct psychoeducation and outreach to raise awareness and equip the community and other professionals with trauma-informed knowledge.
Collaborate with stakeholders and external agencies to mobilize resources for clients.
Work closely with fellow professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated care.
Complete case assessments, reports, and administrative tasks related to case management.
Participate in internal research to enhance trauma-informed practices.
Requirements
Degree/Graduate Diploma in Social Work or equivalent.
Experience in parenting, family issues, or children’s social care is a plus.
Knowledge of trauma-informed care and attachment issues is an advantage.
Strong report writing, communication, and interpersonal skills .
Bilingual and able to engage diverse communities. Malay speaking applicants is an advantage.
Resilient, self-motivated, and a team player with a learning mindset.
Willing to work after office hours and some Saturdays when required.
