Purchaser [Marine]

Responsibilities:

• Responsible in purchasing spare parts.
• Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including requisitions, supplier quotations, purchase orders, and goods delivery, in line with company purchasing policies.
• Negotiate pricing and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
• Coordinate and oversee the delivery of supplies to vessels, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Collaborate with Shipping department to ensure smooth procurement operations and resolve any supply issues.
• Manage and source for vendors with competitive prices.
• Record of purchase orders and delivery notes for all orders.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of purchasing experience in Marine/Shipping industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
