Public Relations Officer (Construction)

We are looking for an experienced Public Relations Officer (PRO) to manage public relations for our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in A&A (Alterations & Additions) construction projects. This role requires managing public inquiries, complaints, and maintaining good relations with nearby stakeholders throughout the project.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely communication of major construction activities (e.g., excavation, piling, concreting) to nearby stakeholders.
• Handle public inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to maintain positive relationships.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders near the construction site.
• Plan and organize outreach activities to inform residents, businesses, and other stakeholders about construction impacts.
• Track and follow up on public feedback and complaints until resolution.
• Arrange defect inspections and ensure prompt resolution of issues.
• Prepare monthly reports summarizing feedback, complaints, and actions taken to address them.
• Maintain accurate records of public relations activities and communications.
• Prepare and distribute advance notices and updates, ensuring compliance with authority approvals.
• Conduct site inspections to address public concerns and ensure effective communication.
• Assist the project team in coordinating site work and handling general office tasks related to public relations.

Requirements:

• Minimum GCE O Level qualification.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Public Relations Officer (PRO) in the construction industry, preferably in A&A projects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle public inquiries and complaints in a professional and tactful manner.
• Organized and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Willing to follow site working hours.
