Desktop Support Engineer| Contract | Central

• Provide technical support to end users for hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
• Assist with operating system migrations and deliver related support services.
• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for hardware and software failures.
• Resolve all issues related to supported end-user equipment and applications.
• Install and configure software and applications as required.
• Maintain accurate and timely records using the IT Service Management tool.
• Ensure all assigned incidents are resolved and closed within agreed SLA timelines.
• Adjust application settings to meet environment-specific requirements.
• Manage the relocation and setup of computer systems and peripheral devices.
• Create and configure user profiles for enterprise applications.
• Provide proactive updates and timely follow-ups to end users.
• Guide users through required tasks and usage of systems or applications.
• Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements.

• Diploma in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in an IT support role.
• Prior experience in Service Desk or Helpdesk environments is an added advantage.
