Test Manager – Banking Project

The Test Manager will lead a large-scale banking project, focusing on the development, implementation, and continuous enhancement of test strategies. This role requires extensive knowledge of the banking industry and the ability to translate project requirements into effective testing approaches.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently allocate and manage QA resources across multiple projects.
• Develop, trial, and refine test strategies to maximize efficiency and ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Implement and continuously optimize testing processes based on performance insights.
• Oversee the development of test plans, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Understand project scope, goals, and technical requirements to guide the QA team effectively.
• Apply expertise in banking QA to enhance testing strategies for applications and infrastructure.
• Mentor and support the QA team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Lead QA efforts for complex, large-scale projects while promoting industry best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure testing aligns with business objectives.
• Optimize QA processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Manage and enhance offshore QA operations, ensuring seamless coordination and high-quality delivery.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Extensive hands-on experience in software testing with strong leadership and management skills.
• Proven experience in QA leadership within the banking industry, specializing in test strategy development and execution.
• Expertise in designing, trialing, and refining test strategies for complex systems.
• Experience leading teams of 10 members and mentoring on advanced testing methodologies.
• Innovative approach to improving test strategies and ensuring software quality.
• Strong ability to collaborate with project managers, clients, and stakeholders.
• Experience managing offshore QA operations to drive efficiency and productivity.
• Deep understanding of banking applications and infrastructure testing.
