ROOF-WORKS/WATERPROOFING EXPERIENCED WORKERS

Job Title: Roof-Works/Waterproofing Experienced Worker

Location: Singapore

Key Responsibilities:

• Roof Installation and Repair:
  Install, repair, and replace roofs on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
  Measure and cut roofing materials to fit around obstacles such as chimneys or vents.
  Apply roofing materials including shingles, asphalt, metal, and other types.
• Waterproofing:
  Apply waterproofing membranes and coatings to roofs, walls, and other structures.
  Inspect and repair existing waterproofing systems to ensure they are effective.
  Use various waterproofing techniques and materials to prevent water infiltration.
• Safety and Compliance:
  Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  Conduct site assessments to identify potential hazards and implement safety measures.
  Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure it is in good condition.
• Maintenance and Inspection:
  Perform regular maintenance on roofs and waterproofing systems to extend their lifespan.
  Inspect roofs and waterproofing systems for damage and wear, and recommend repair or replacement as needed.
  Ensure all work complies with local building codes and standards.
• Project Planning and Management:
  Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine roofing and waterproofing requirements.
  Plan the sequence of tasks and procure the necessary materials and tools.
  Coordinate with other workers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure efficient workflow.
• Documentation and Reporting:
  Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered.
  Prepare and submit reports on project progress and completion.
  Document any accidents, near-misses, or unsafe practices and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements:

• WAH/MWAH and spiderman certificate & etc.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in roofing and waterproofing.
• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
