Client Acquistion Manager (Offshore - Malaysia Market)

The Client Acquisition Manager will be responsible for driving the growth of the bank's customer base in the Market market by identifying, engaging, and acquiring high-value clients. This role involves developing and executing strategic acquisition plans, fostering strong relationships with prospects, and promoting the bank's products and services to meet the financial needs of individuals and businesses.

Responsibilities:

  • Primarily responsible for the proactive acquisition of new-to-bank HNW Sign Ups, focusing on sourcing individual customers with potential for HNW Sign Ups.
  • Provide a broader range of retail and HNW products, including unsecured cards and insurance, to targeted segments.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders within CA, as well as external stakeholders (e.g., property agents, brokers, and other external sales agents) to generate referrals for HNW Clients.
  • Engage affluent and mass market clients for HNW Sign Up requests through internal marketing campaigns, mortgage inquiries, employee banking events, networking events, and roadshows.
  • Willing to work off-office hours and weekends for activities such as networking events, campaigns, and roadshows.
  • Stay updated on market trends and competitor offerings, conducting regular market updates and follow-ups with target customer groups to enhance product differentiation and remain competitive.

Requirements:

  • Relevant sales/acquisition experience in banking sales with a proven sales track record.
  • Previous B2B and B2C sales/acquisition experience with a strong sales performance history.
  • Highly results-driven, enthusiastic, and self-motivated, with excellent time management skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Passionate about sales and delivering exceptional customer service, capable of handling complex and challenging situations with clients.
  • Ability to deliver professional corporate presentations to key stakeholders.
  • Team player with initiative and assertiveness.
  • Diploma or degree holder.
  • At least 4 years of experience in banking
