STRUCTURAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Coordinate design drawings with consultants to comply with requirements of the authorities.

2. Review and provide solutions to technical problems as well as plan, monitor and report shop drawing production progress.

3. Resolve construction issues on drawings and liaise closely with construction / M&E teams as well as the authorities.

4. To coordinate and review all the submissions from consultant and subcontractors.

5. To assist planning and reviewing of shop drawings submission schedule to control the sequence and time frame for development of shop drawings.

6. To coordinate with client/consultants on any discrepancy on the drawings and reports.

7. To review the Structural drawings against Structural and clients requirements.

8. To coordinate with drafters and ensure all shopdrawings are efficiently produced to enable works on site.

9. Identify potential and discrepancies that affect the design and recommend solutions to relevant team/department.

10. Prepare technical submissions for materials, construction methods and C&S shop drawings.

Job Requirements:

Degrees in Civil Engineering, MS in Geotechnical engineering preferred

Min. 2 years relevant experience

Auto CAD, Microsoft Office
