You will be part of HPB’s Physical Activity Department, within the Physical Activity and Healthy Ageing Division, dedicated to making active living a cornerstone of daily life. The department empowers residents to stay active by providing the knowledge, opportunities, and support needed to build sustainable habits. The department designs and delivers impactful programmes, from physical activity initiatives to literacy and community-driven efforts, ensuring residents have the knowledge and opportunities to stay active. By partnering with government agencies, industry leaders, and key stakeholders, it expands access to inclusive, high-quality physical activity options across daily routines and leisure time. Grounded in evidence informed, data-driven insights and capability development, the department evolves its strategies and work to drive participation, enhance well-being, and embed active living as a way of life.
As a key member of Physical Activity Department, you will be part of a team reporting to the Physical Activity department’s team lead.
You will be responsible for managing key aspects of contract, programme, and vendor management within the Physical Activity Department. Your primary focus will be to ensure vendors are delivering services in alignment with HPB’s objectives while adhering to contractual and compliance requirements. You will also coordinate the audit process and work closely with stakeholders to manage risks and optimize resources.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Management : Track contractors’ performance and ensure adherence to contract terms. Familiarity with government processes for the renewal and termination of contracts is a plus.
Programme and Vendor Management : Collaborate with vendors to deliver HPB’s Physical Activity programmes, ensuring that HPB’s objectives are met. Actively manage risks and optimize resources to achieve successful programme outcomes.
Audit Coordination : Coordinate audit processes with relevant stakeholders to ensure vendors’ compliance with HPB requirements, ensuring that all regulatory and contractual obligations are met.
Join us if you are a dynamic and self-motivated individual who has at least 3-5 years of relevant working experience in developing and implementing initiatives for general population, and enjoys working in a highly matrixed, fluid and fast-paced environment. You should also possess:
Excellent inter-personal skills and able to effectively manage and address the different needs and expectations of both internal and external stakeholders.
Good analytical skills and attentiveness to details, including the ability to question and critically evaluate audit evidence.
Ability to communicate effectively with verbal, written and presentation skills to present ideas and concepts.
Proven track record in managing and implementing community-based programmes
Experience in the monitoring and compliance of contracts, ensuring adherence to terms and conditions while managing risks and performance.
Having relevant qualifications such as sport and exercise, health-related sciences or operations and business management will be a plus.
