Regional FP&A Analyst – Asia (Pharmaceutical Industry)

With operations in over 60 countries, our client continues to expand its regional capabilities across Asia and is now looking for a high-calibre Regional FP&A Analyst to join their growing finance team.
This is a strategic regional role, supporting both finance and business stakeholders across multiple functions and geographies. It’s an excellent opportunity for an FP&A professional looking to grow their regional exposure and deepen their experience in a fast-evolving, purpose-driven sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Partnering & Performance Management
- Partner closely with Regional and Country Finance teams, supporting key financial decisions to drive performance against strategic and operational objectives.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders, including Commercial, Supply Chain, and Healthcare teams, to identify challenges and opportunities within the region.
- Prepare insightful financial materials for monthly/quarterly reviews with senior leadership.
Management Reporting & Analysis
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial reports, including regional P&L and RHQ cost reports.
- Generate sales performance reports by SKU and by country for corporate planning.
- Consolidate budgets and forecasts into executive-level presentations with meaningful analysis and commentary.
Financial Systems & Controls
- Maintain financial planning systems (AFO/BPC), ensuring data integrity, mapping accuracy, and alignment across countries and departments.
- Lead monthly mapping updates and standardize expense reporting codes across the region.
- Support implementation and testing of new financial systems, tools, and processes.
Project Support
- Assist in major finance-related and cross-functional projects such as system implementations, cost-saving initiatives, and new product launches.
- Collaborate with global teams on regional financial integration and harmonization projects.
Market-Specific Business Partnering
- Act as finance business partner to the Singapore Country Head of Sales, supporting pricing strategy, margin analysis, and SG&A management.
- Provide end-to-end budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis support to the local Singapore team.
Support for Healthcare Functions
- Partner with QA and SCM teams on annual budgeting and monthly variance analysis.
- Support CAPEX planning for SCM and provide financial insights to the global healthcare functions.
Your Profile
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional qualifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA) preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant FP&A experience, ideally with regional exposure.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen, with a collaborative mindset and high attention to detail.
- Experience working in matrix organizations across functions and geographies.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with SAP (including AfO, BPC) is highly desirable.
- Exposure to the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is advantageous.
