Staff / Senior Staff Engineer Data Scientist

Job Description
In your new role you will:

• Leading and executing data science projects from concept to deployment, ensuring high-quality deliverables
• Developing and implementing advanced analytical or machine learning models and algorithms to solve business problems in the semiconductor industry, specifically in the testing domain
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions
• Mentoring and guiding junior data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
• Communicating findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences through reports, presentations, and visualizations
Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and related technologies, including Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)

Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Degree/ Master's or Ph.D. degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proven min 5 year experience in a data scientist or similar role, preferably within the semiconductor industry or related manufacturing industries
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
• Experience with data warehousing, ETL, and database management systems is a plus
• Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g.,TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Strong understanding of statistical modelling and hypothesis testing.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proven strong ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Expertise in applying Generative AI and LLMs is a plus
• Possess strong communication and collaboration abilities with fluent English to communicate with multicultural counterparts around the globe
