Devops Engineer with Cloud Transformation

Role Summary:

A DevOps Engineer with Oracle Cloud focuses on automating and streamlining the software development lifecycle within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), ensuring the reliability and performance of applications and services. This involves designing, deploying, and supporting OCI infrastructure, applying DevOps practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and support OCI infrastructure and applications using CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop infrastructure as code to automate tasks, manage deployments, and streamline the software development lifecycle.
• Manage and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Git, Jenkins, and Ansible.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support.
• Collaborate with other teams, including development, operations, and product owners, to drive project deliverables.
• Assist with migrating Oracle environments to OCI, including databases and applications.
• Ensure optimal performance and reliability of OCI infrastructure and applications.
• Identify and implement improvements to the DevOps process to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Share knowledge and skills with other engineers to build a strong DevOps culture.

Skills Requirement:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering/Information Technology/Computer Science
• 5-7 years of experience in relevant field
• Experience with DevOps principles, practices, and tools.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms like Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or other cloud providers.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of Oracle databases or other database technologies.
• Understanding of networking and security concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
