Join an exciting role where you'll take ownership of strategic initiatives from concept to implementation. As a Business Manager in Pricing & Revenue Development, you'll collaborate with stakeholders across departments in an entrepreneurial environment. Reporting to the Head of Pricing & Revenue Development Asia, you will be responsible for price management tools and coordinate pricing and revenue initiatives in a changing regulatory landscape. This role is based in Singapore, offering hybrid work arrangements in a dynamic team.
YOUR CHALLENGE
KEY FEATURES OF THE POSITION
Core Responsibilities
- Act as business product owner for for price management tools and processes
- Develop pricing related solutions, concepts and designs and works closely with IT and Business to get these implemented
- Serve as a subject matter expert on pricing-tool related topics and represent the pricing tool developments in the respective committees/forums
- Support strategic client pricing & revenue development initiatives, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders (Front Regions, Product/Sales Units, Finance, etc.)
- Support the department head with day-to-day operations (e.g. pricing policy updates) and strategic initiatives
- Prepare documents and analysis for senior management (e.g. evaluation of new concepts, price changes or impact of regulatory requirements etc.)
- Ensure timely delivery aligned with cost, risk and regulatory requirements
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis on pricing & profitability
- Develop and run pricing-related training and education concept and coordinate execution
Regulatory Responsibilities &/OR Risk Management
- Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
YOUR PROFILE
Professional and Technical
- University degree in business administration, economics, engineering, or equivalent with strong analytic acumen
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in private banking or management consulting, specializing in pricing/profitability management within Private Banking or Financial Services; international experience preferred
- Excellent analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills
- Strong customer focus & affinity to develop new tools/optimize business processes
- Excellent MS Office skills, particularly in PowerPoint and Excel
- Proven interdisciplinary project management experience within a matrix organization; agile delivery experience/certification is advantageous
- Comprehensive knowledge of Private Banking products/services and processes
- Fluency in English required; Mandarin or German proficiency is a plus
