We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Store Manager to oversee daily operations at our retail cum warehouse store that specialises in baby products, including baby accessories, water bottles, milk powders, toys, diapers, lotions, and bundle deals.
The Store Manager will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing deliveries arrangement, ensuring efficient store operations, and also managing our online store presence.
This role requires strong independence and multitasking skills, a passion for working with families and understanding their needs, and the ability to drive sales both in-store and online.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product selection, inquiries, and recommendations.
- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of all activities.
- Oversee and manage the store’s online commerce platform, ensuring listings are updated and accurately reflect available inventory.
- Organise and arrange products on shelves when deliveries from suppliers arrive.
- Maintain stock levels, ensure products are well-organised and displayed attractively, and monitor inventory to minimize out-of-stock situations.
- Create, update, and optimise product listings with accurate descriptions, prices, and appealing visuals.
- Handle cashier operations, including cash handling and processing transactions.
- Coordinate with the logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
- Implement promotional strategies, discounts, and bundle deals to attract customers and boost sales.
Skills Required
- Previous experiences in retail management, preferably in the consumer goods sector.
- Strong multitasking abilities, with attention to detail, and able to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Experience in managing online stores, specifically on platforms like Shopee or similar.
- Knowledge of baby products and a passion for understanding the needs of parents and children.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak shopping times or promotions period.
This is a full-time post with a 6 month Operational Training. Salary will be adjusted after successful completion of the Operational Training.
