SAP FICO Consultant

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in implementing, configuring, and maintaining SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules to meet our business requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of finance processes and technical expertise in SAP FICO.

Key Responsibilities:

Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP FICO functional specifications.

Configure and customize SAP FI and CO modules to meet client-specific requirements.

Integrate SAP FICO with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, PP) and third-party systems.

Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities in SAP.

Provide technical expertise and solutions for issues related to SAP FICO modules.

Develop and execute test plans for SAP implementations and enhancements.

Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to optimize SAP processes and workflows.

Prepare user manuals and provide training to end-users.

Conduct regular system updates, upgrades, and patches to maintain system performance.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.

Proven experience as an SAP FICO Consultant with at least [X years] of implementation and support experience.

Strong knowledge of SAP FI and CO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).

Proficiency in SAP FICO configuration and integration with other SAP modules.

Understanding of business processes in finance, accounting, and controlling.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in SAP FI/CO module.

Experience with S/4HANA Finance.

Knowledge of reporting tools like SAP FIORI and BW/BI.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
