Data Science Intern

Job Overview

We are excited to offer an opportunity for an Data Science Intern to join our innovative company. This role is ideal for undergraduate students who are passionate about AI/ML specifically in the domain of LLM and GenAI. As an intern, you will support the development of new models and algorithms, applying AI to solve real-world challenges and shape the future.

In this position, you will gain hands-on experience in AI, machine learning, and data analysis, while staying abreast of the latest advancements in this fast-evolving field. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the development of prompts, analyzing data sets to identify patterns, and supporting the creation of both predictive and generative models.

Responsibilities

As an Data Science Intern, you will:

• Assist in designing and developing AI models to meet project objectives.
• Support the implementation of AI-based features and enhancements.
• Help convert AI/ML models into APIs for use by other developers.
• Contribute to optimizing and fine-tuning AI models for performance and
• accuracy.
• Collaborate with product managers and senior engineers to understand business requirements and contribute to AI solutions.
• Support the management of project infrastructure and the development of AI models and projects.
• Work alongside machine learning engineers, data engineers, and AI engineers in developing machine learning models.

Job Qualifications and Skill Sets

For the Data Science Intern position, we expect:

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate program in computer science, computer engineering or a related field.
• Basic mastery of Python and one other programming language such as R, Java, JavaScript or others
• An introductory knowledge of AI models and machine learning platforms like Pytorch, Tensorflow, ChatGPT, StableDiffusion etc.
• Enthusiasm for working with both structures and unstructured datasets and an interest in developing efficient coding skills.
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to collaborate in a team environment.
