[What the role is]
You will be part of the team which drives key transport initiatives relating to the Public Transport Group in the areas of management of travel demand and promotion of public transport commuter inclusivity.
You will play a key role in designing and implementing innovative travel demand management initiatives to enhance public transport usage and promote flexible/off-peak travel. This includes leveraging appropriate data analytics and behavioural insights tools, as well as developing data visualization products such as customized dashboards and reports, to analyse public transport users’ travel patterns and measure campaign effectiveness.
You will also enjoy a collaborative environment where you can work with a diverse range of stakeholders, including government agencies, publicity campaign vendors, app developers and public transport operators. You will have opportunities to conceptualise and work with vendors to run publicity campaigns and collaterals to influence and sustain new travel behaviours.
[What we are looking for]
- Knowledge preferably in data analytics, economics, business studies, or
equivalent fields.
- Possess relevant experience in data analysis and visualization, preferably in
Excel, Tableau, and PowerBI.
- Able to synthesize information, build strong narrative and distil ideas and
concepts into concrete strategies and initiatives.
- Strong vendor management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong ability to work effectively in an environment that is highly matrixed,
fluid and fast-paced.
- Passion for public policy and land transport.
