Cloud Architect

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement High Availability, Backup & Recovery solutions on Azure and AWS, and prepare comprehensive technical documentation.
• Manage large-scale infrastructure project implementations and deployments.
• Review Vulnerability Assessment and Security Assessment reports; propose and implement infrastructure solutions and provide recommendations to application teams.
• Ensure solution designs align with requirements for scalability, performance, and quality, in accordance with established service level agreements.
• Collaborate with product vendors for effective cloud solution deployment.
• Plan and conduct research on application technologies independently to support business objectives.
• Prepare documentation outlining the ideal future state of infra-architecture, identify current gaps, and define transition plans to bridge these gaps.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience as a Cloud Architect or in a similar role with substantial expertise in AWS and Azure.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Strong understanding of cloud and on-premises components.
• In-depth knowledge of security components (i.e. WAF, Jump Host, proxy, key vault, multifactor authentication, Endpoint Protection, IPS, Security Incident Management, etc.)
• Hands-on experience in implementing solutions on AWS and Azure.
• Hands-on experience in migrating on-premises infrastructure to cloud.
• Prior experience with GDC, GPC, GCC will be an added advantage.
