System Engineer (BMS Design & Implement | Suntec)

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy Building Management Systems (BMS), including BA, EPMS, EMS, and SCADA, for data centers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to define standards for design, tendering, implementation, and delivery, covering aspects such as graphical interfaces, alarm parameters, and testing protocols.
• Manage the entire BMS project lifecycle, from design and execution to final handover.
• Analyze construction drawings, oversee vendors and consultants, coordinate with overseas clients, and develop innovative solutions to optimize system performance.
• Ensure on-time and high-quality deployment of BMS systems.
• Establish standardized documentation, streamline processes, and monitor vendor deliverables for accuracy and compliance.
• Work closely with project teams, contractors, and internal departments to resolve technical challenges.
• Stay informed about emerging BMS technologies and assess their potential applications.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in BMS system implementation and project management, including collaboration with contractors and BMS manufacturers.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related fields (or equivalent experience for candidates with alternative educational backgrounds).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, with the capability to create precise technical drawings and reports.
• Knowledge of BMS industry standards, emerging technologies, and large-scale electrical and cooling infrastructure.
