This role will be reporting to the Digital and Business Lead.

What you can expect from the role

Job Description:

• Build and implement client-focused, next generation software architecture and applications.
• Participate in full-stack software development lifecycle by applying agile methodologies for sprint planning, analyses, design sessions, development, testing, deployment (on-site and remote), launch, high quality delivery and acceptance based on project requirements and specifications.
• Facilitate code reviews, design and architecture brainstorms to improve coding standards.
• Perform configuration, debugs, fine tuning, maintenance, troubleshooting and updates of software solutions to ensure functionality and performance, including creation of customer-specific visuals.
• Gather and evaluate user feedback via effective customer communication as well as define and execute UI optimizations, collaborating with cross-functional team members as required.
• Contribute to system optimization and scalability efforts.
• Write unit, integration and system tests to ensure software reliability.
• Use automated testing frameworks to verify code functionality and reduce the likelihood of bugs.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation for reference and reporting.
• Train customers in software solutions.

Job Requirement:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C , Python, R, JavaScript, or C#.
• Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, RESTful (JSON), etc.) and frameworks like React, Angular, .NET (Code First), or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, InfluxDB, MongoDB, or TDengine.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
• Understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), Agile, or Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in mobile app development (iOS, Android).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), network technologies and analysis tools, routers, and firewalls.
• Experience with disaster recovery mechanisms.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, and enjoy working in a team.
• Experience in certain specific domains (e.g., manufacturing, tobacco) can be a plus, as it allows for a deeper understanding of industry-specific challenges and datasets, e.g., ISA-95.
• Proven experience in software development or related roles, typically with 2-5 years of experience.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
• Experience with machine learning, artificial intelligence, or big data technologies.
