Manager (Operations Capability)

What The Role Is

You develop and enhance operational capability in the domain of service delivery for MINDEF/SAF. Your role involves key responsibilities in operational planning, system management, parliamentary duties, and event organisation.

What You Will Be Working On

• Develop the structure, concept of operations (CONOPS) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure undisrupted MINDEF/SAF service operations
• Draw up plans for refresh, and ensure the availability and relevance of the MINDEF/SAF Intranet systems and processes
• Coordinate parliamentary duties and responses for Parliamentary Questions (PQ), Committee of Supply (COS) Debate and other Parliamentary sessions and processes for MINDEF/SAF
• Plan and organise National Day Observance Ceremonies at MINDEF Building
• Take ownership of assigned areas of work and assist with other tasks/projects as needed for the overall success of the department

What We Are Looking For

• Education in Business or Information Technology (IT) is preferred
• At least 3 years of working experience in organisation planning and development, Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and/or resource planning and management, Business process engineering, corporate IT or web management
• Experience in managing operations-type work is an advantageous
• Strong inclination for operations work
• Good command and control of operations
• Strong networking skills
• Comfortable with regular interactions with MINDEF senior leadership
