Procurement Manager

Job Responsibilities

• To lead a team of purchasing associates
• To ensure that store has sufficient inventory to cover for sales requirements
• To ensure all purchase orders are raised in accordance to MRP
• To ensure all purchase orders are issued to vendors on time
• To ensure accuracy and completeness in ERP system and purchasing documentations
• To ensure on-time delivery from vendors while maintaining inventory level within the desired target
• To review with vendors on quality issues and ensure corrective and preventive actions are taken by vendors
• Constant and close follow up on parts required by sales and production team
• To review all “slow-moving or no-move items” in the inventory and work with vendors on how to clear these potentially obsolete items
• To establish a good working relationship with vendors to ensure their strong support required to meeting the Company’s demand changes
• Generate required reports for Management review

Job Requirements

• Degree in any Business or Engineering field with at least 7 years of experience in procurement in an electronics manufacturing industry
• Possess knowledge of procurement in electronics manufacturing industry
• Possess forward planning and organising skills
• Able to multi-task and stay committed to the job
• Knowledge on Microsoft
• Knowledge on ERP systems
• Good at problem solving and communicating
• Possess good leadership skills and a team player
