Game Developer (Unity)

We are looking for a Game Developer who has the same vision, open to discuss all ideas and passionate in creating the virtual environment with us. As a game developer, we need someone with a history of working in multifaceted role with various functions ranging from user interface (UI) development, gameplay implementation to graphics programming.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the Game Design and implement into the development process.
• Collaborating with artist on design and delivery of interactive applications.
• Animating characters and objects, integrating art assets into games.
• Producing prototypes of gameplay ideas and features.
• Ensure coding standards are followed and help to enforce good programming practices within the programming team.
• Creating modular code that can be used by other programmers in different scenarios.
• Implementing data structures, audio, gameplay and UI interactions that meet the game design and technical requirements.
• Work with team to meet target schedules for launches.
• Communicating and sharing ideas with other team members to resolve issues.
• Troubleshooting and fixing bugs.
• Capture and edit gameplay videos.
Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Programming, Engineering or a related field.
• Possess prior experience as a Game Developer with a portfolio of game applications including at least one Unity project.
• Good knowledge of various gaming trends, best practice and technologies.
• Able to work with different types of Games.
• Strong programming foundation, proficient in Unity and C#.
• Setting up basic controls, basic UI elements.
• Great communication skills & teamwork.

Bonus:

• Proven Casual game genre development experience for mobile platforms.

• Diploma / Degree in Game Design, programming, analytics or equivalent work experiences.

• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.

• Critical thinking and able to think out of the box.

• Strong leadership skills.

• Knowledge and experience with Unity VFX.
