Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure for MAS regulatory reporting, survey, and other static in compliance with local regulatory requirements
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of regulatory reports.
- Monitor changes in regulatory reporting requirements and ensure the reporting systems and processes are up to date
- Perform data analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy of regulatory reports
- Develop and implement controls and processes to ensure the integrity and accuracy of regulatory reporting
- Support regulatory reporting process control excellence, process improvement and automation
- Support NPNA and businesses on regulatory impact for new business and product implementation
- Support all regulatory reporting related projects and ensure timely and accurate delivery of project milestones
- Update policies and procedures on regulatory reporting
Other duties:
- Supporting ad-hoc regulator, internal and external auditor requests
- Support month-end closing/reporting processes
- Monthly excess fund placement with Treasury
Required Skills:
- Hold an accounting degree or professional qualification
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant experience regulatory reporting within the financial services industry in Singapore.
- Proficient understanding of MAS and Banking Act regulations and reporting, accounting standards, accounting controls and processes, banking products etc.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good interpersonal skill, attention to details, high productivity, independent and self-motivated
- Willingness to learn and grow on the job
- Ability to work under pressure, calmly within tight deadlines and escalate appropriately.
- Proficient Excel skill
- Knowledge of automation tools is a plus
- Experience with Vermeg regulatory system is a plus.
