We are seeking a Communications Intern to assist with internal staff engagement and quality management initiatives within our organization. The ideal candidate will support the development and execution of communication strategies that enhance employee experience, ensure clear messaging, and align with business objectives. This role requires basic writing skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. A familiarity with Electronic Direct Mail (EDM) design is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
Internal Communications & Engagement:
- Assist in executing internal communication plans to support staff engagement and alignment with company and department goals.
- Help draft content for internal newsletters, announcements, and intranet updates.
- Support the design and creation of EDMs for internal communication campaigns under supervision.
- Assist in organizing internal events, including town halls and employee recognition programs.
- Gather and summarize employee feedback to help improve communication effectiveness.
- Work with Operations teams to support consistent messaging.
Quality Management Support:
- Assist in communicating key updates, process changes, and best practices to staff.
- Help create training materials, guidelines, and FAQs to support quality assurance.
- Support audits, compliance checks, and documentation efforts as needed.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Track and summarize engagement metrics, surveys, and employee feedback.
- Assist in preparing reports and recommendations for communication improvements.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Communications or Marketing a related field.
- Good writing, editing, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
- Familiarity with AI Image Generator such as Canva, or similar platforms is a plus but not required.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Interest in End User Support, Contact Centre Operations, Project Operations, or similar industries.
- Familiarity with employee engagement tools and survey platforms is a plus.
- Basic graphic design skills for internal communications are a plus.
