[What the role is
The Meteorological Service Singapore (MSS) is Singapore’s national authority on the weather and climate. The International Relations and Outreach Department (IROD) manages the international cooperation and engage the public through outreach and publicity efforts.]
[What you will be working on]
You will be part of the team in IROD, working in close partnership with other divisions within MSS and the National Environment Agency to drive the publicity/marketing, communications, and event management efforts of MSS. Broadly, you will be responsible for the following areas:
- Development of the storyboard for videos and produce multimedia content materials such as newsletters and posters to support MSS’ outreach and communications efforts
- Filming and editing of videos, including directing subjects and incorporating/creating graphics
- Photography and management of stock images for MSS publicity materials
- Ad hoc duties as assigned by MSS, which may include assisting in events, administrative duties, involvement in department’s projects etc.
[What we are looking for]
The job might be for you if you possess the following:
- Relevant qualification in media communications with 2-3 years of relevant experience in graphic design and video production
- Familiar with video production and photography
- Well-versed with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop
- Resourceful with an eye for detail and aesthetics
- Good team player and able to work with various stakeholders
- Able to multi-task well and possesses a sense of urgency
- Additional skillset and experience with Blackmagic Design software would be advantageous
