Project Executive – Freight Forwarding

NES Fircroft is supporting a leading company in the Logistics sector in their search for a Project Executive – Freight Forwarding. If you have hands-on experience managing air or sea freight shipments and are looking for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team, this could be the role for you!

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

✅ Plan and coordinate end-to-end freight forwarding operations, ensuring timely delivery of equipment and materials.

✅ Manage import/export documentation, customs clearance, and regulatory compliance to facilitate smooth shipments.

✅ Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and third-party logistics providers to optimize transportation strategies.

✅ Oversee logistics costs, risk assessments, and project timelines to prevent delays and budget overruns.

✅ Ensure adherence to HSE, industry standards, and international shipping regulations.

🔹 Must-Have Requirements:

✅ Experience in the Oil & Gas/Marine industry - O&G/Marine industry knowledge and experience is a must. FPSO experience will be held in high regard

✅Freight forwarding expertise – Strong knowledge of air or sea freight, shipping, supply chain, and international trade compliance.

✅ Familiarity with customs regulations, incoterms, and cargo handling procedures.

✅ Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, global logistics environment.

✅ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in handling complex shipping operations.

✅ Positive mindset and good attitude – Eager to learn and grow in the role.

✅ Flexibility for longer working hours – Comfortable managing operations that may extend beyond regular business hours.
