Job Posting for Contract Manager at NIPPON BUILDERS PTE. LTD.
Responsibilities:
Manage team of Quantity Surveyors in the preparation, review, and management of contracts, subcontracts, and agreements.
Develop procurement strategies that involve shortlisting appropriate vendors, managing RFQ/RFP submissions, conducting tenders, and evaluating bids as part of the awarding process, including reviewing internal approval documents for management’s consent.
In charge of the main contract progress claims and subcontract payments, including managing variation claims.
Generate and track project cash flow forecasts and cost value reports.
Administer project timelines and budgets while engaging in rates and commercial negotiations.
Provide guidance on contractual issues and assist in dispute resolution.
Collaborate closely with the Project Team to deliver cost and financial insights, along with contractual support throughout the pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases.
Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying / Building or equivalent from a recognized University.
Minimum 12 years of related working experience in Maincon.
Organizational skill with attention to detail, adaptable and flexible.
Good communication and facilitation skills.
Ability to work well in a team as well as independently and demonstrate initiative and commitment.
