Manager, Alumni Relations

The Office of Alumni Engagement (OAE) is seeking to hire an alumni relations professional to identify, develop and manage alumni engagement initiatives, leverage alumni network talent and resources, and align resources among NTU Stakeholders.

The Manager is part of the team tasked to drive the University's alumni events, and partnering programs targeted at global alumni network across different life and career stages. These events and programs are organised by OAE, Schools and Departments, and Alumni Associations to create and maintain pathways for alumni participation that advance the goals of the University. The key strategic objectives for the team are building a thriving community of engaged and contributing alumni, developing a lifelong, mutually beneficial relationship with NTU, and fostering a sense of identity and pride to their alma mater.

Responsibilities:
  • Recruit and steward contributing alumni in leveraging their talent and resources.
  • Develop and implement projects aligned with OAE goals, in response to gaps in fulfilment of stakeholder requirements and Management's objectives.
  • Leverage on online platforms and technology to scale alumni engagement.
  • Support the Director in resource planning, and coordinates reports, proposals, and analyses for OAE and NTU Senior Management.
  • Support colleagues in the execution of programmes and major events by OAE.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from a recognised university.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of relevant work experience in events, community or professional network engagement, stakeholder relations or alumni relations/advancement.
  • Possess strong stakeholder management skills and project/vendor management abilities with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills, with excellent writing skills.
  • Ability and willingness to collaborate within a team in a fast-paced. environment while also working independently and being self-motivated.
  • Proven experience in managing and executing webinars, and engagement programmes, preferably in an alumni relations or higher education setting.
