Job Summary
The APAC Regional Manager, Global Real Estate is responsible for overseeing NXP’s real estate portfolio across the Asia-Pacific region, managing both owned and leased assets for NXP and its affiliates. This high-visibility leadership role demands strategic oversight of corporate real estate functions, including property management, financial planning, lease administration, and capital projects.
The role will drive portfolio optimization, leveraging analytics and technology to enhance operational efficiency, sustainability, and long-term value. As a strategic partner to business line leaders, the APAC Regional Manager will align real estate initiatives with corporate objectives, ensuring assets support evolving business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio & Asset Management
Oversee NXP’s APAC real estate portfolio, including 25 sites and four industrial campuses.
Implement data-driven strategies to optimize space utilization, reduce costs, and enhance sustainability.
Manage lease negotiations, acquisitions, dispositions, and asset repurposing for maximum financial efficiency.
Strategic Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
Provide strategic direction to internal teams, brokers, and third-party contractors.
Act as a key advisor to business unit leaders, ensuring real estate decisions align with long-term operational goals.
Develop and execute an enterprise-wide strategy for real estate technology integration, smart building solutions, and workplace efficiency.
Financial Planning & Performance Optimization
Establish financial models and analytics-driven decision frameworks for capital investments.
Lead budgeting, cost control, and forecasting efforts to maximize portfolio performance.
Identify and implement sustainability initiatives to meet ESG goals and regulatory compliance.
Operations & Compliance
Ensure real estate operations comply with local regulations, global best practices, and corporate governance standards.
Oversee renovations, facility upgrades, and construction projects to align with operational, sustainability and efficiency targets.
Qualifications & Experience
Education & Certification
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field (Master’s or industry certifications preferred).
Real Estate License preferred.
Experience & Expertise
12–15 years of progressive experience in corporate real estate, including property management, leasing, portfolio optimization, and construction.
Strong knowledge of global real estate laws, regulations, and market trends.
Experience in high-tech or industrial real estate is a plus.
Proven expertise in financial modeling, comparative analysis, and performance benchmarking.
Skills & Competencies
Advanced negotiation skills with the ability to structure and interpret complex lease agreements.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities, with a track record of driving cross-functional collaboration.
Proficiency in real estate analytics, sustainability practices, and smart building technologies.
Fluency in English and Mandarin (both written and verbal).
Proficient in MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook; familiarity with real estate management software a plus.
Additional Requirements
Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, global environment.
24/7 on-call availability to support business-critical real estate operations.
Willingness to travel internationally up to 20% with short notice.
