[What you will be working on]
Plan and conduct lessons, develop digital-ready teaching materials and design assessments for diploma and CET learning units.
Maintain and refresh curricula in areas such as Aerodynamics, Aircraft Structures & Systems, Propulsion and Engine Maintenance, Maintenance Practices, Aviation Legislation and Human Factors.
Mentor and support students in projects, internships and competitions, fostering professional and personal growth.
Lead or participate in applied R&D, consultancy and industry-sponsored projects, translating real-world problems into learning opportunities.
Deploy evidence-based pedagogies and leverage tools such as AR/VR, data analytics and AI/ML to enhance learning outcomes.
Cultivate and sustain strong industry linkages, organise guest talks and site visits, and drive outreach and student-recruitment activities.
Serve on school committees and contribute to administrative or project-management tasks; evening or night classes may be required once a week.
[What we are looking for]
Relevant qualification in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of relevant aerospace experience (e.g. MRO, manufacturing, engines, systems development or aviation operations).
Passion for education with a proven ability (or clear potential) to mentor, motivate and engage diverse learners.
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills; collaborative and self-driven with strong organisational abilities.
Track record of developing and integrating new technologies into practice, or a keen interest in doing so.
Active industry network and readiness to undertake applied projects and continual professional development.
It would be an advantage if you
• Have good planning and organizing skills.
