Assistant Manager/Manager, Asia Europe (Space Management) (Global HQ)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage and control space utilization and booking activities for assigned Asia-Europe service loops
• Coordinate closely with key stakeholders such as origin sales offices, Container Flow team, and GVO to optimize vessel loadability
• Support the Space Team Leader by providing timely updates on booking situations and proposing recommendations to achieve optimal space utilization
• Create, update, and drive the use of performance monitoring reports to support informed decision-making
• Guide and work closely with relevant staff in local offices to ensure effective execution of space planning strategies
• Contribute actively to ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned

Requirements

• Degree in Logistics, Maritime Studies, or any related field
• 4-8 years of relevant experience in space management or trade management within the liner industry
• Knowledge of liner trade space management and vessel operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Looker
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines in a face-paced environment
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations
• Effective communication and coordination skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional and international teams.
• Familiar with ONE structure and pre-existing network of contacts and relationships is an advantage
