Job Description:

Our client is currently seeking an Assistant to join their team in supporting the expansion of exporting seafood and food products to Singapore.

• Promotional activities to expand the market for Japanese food products in Singapore
• Planning and research related to the above promotional activities
• Coordination with external parties (organizers, local companies) and internal teams for symposiums, business meetings, exhibitions, invitation programs, and other events
• Data management within the department and other administrative tasks
• Provide administrative support for seminars and other events.
• Supporting the operation of exhibitions, events, and other related activities.
• Assist simple translation from Japanese to English
• Other admin duties as required

Job Requirements:

• Experience in accounting support, general office tasks, and other related responsibilities will be an advantage
• PC skill (example: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams) to handle documents.
• Japanese language skill: Able to communicate with Japanese speaking stakeholders.
• Interest with Japanese food or food products.
• Experience in organizing events (seminars, business meetings, exhibitions, etc.) or experience in marketing roles will be a plus
