Technical Sales Engineer (welding materials) - JY

• Working hours: 8.30am – 6pm
• Salary: up to $4,500 (Depending on experiences)

Job Description

• Build and maintain a network with customers of welding consumables in the Singapore region.
• Visit users daily in Singapore (e.g., shipyards, distributors) involved in welding to assess their satisfaction levels with the equipment and identify areas for improvement or dissatisfaction.
• Listen to users' requests and provide suitable advice on the use of welding materials.
• Make business trips to Malaysia upon customers' requests for technical support.
• Plan and organize branding and promotional activities for the company’s products in the covered area, including conducting seminars, demonstrations, roadshows, exhibitions, etc
• Engage in discussions with companies involved in extracting structures used in oil and gas exploration from the seabed.
• Provide technical services related to welding materials.
• Respond to engineers' inquiries to confirm the specifications of welding consumables.

Job Requirement

• A valid driving license to drive a company car
• Technical knowledge and several years of engineering experience
• A solid understanding of welding processes and consumables
• Experience working in a technical sales and marketing industry
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering will be preferred
• Strong communication skills and high levels of enthusiasm
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
