Directus CMS Expert

We are seeking an experienced Directus CMS Expert for a contract role to support the migration of our content and website functionalities from Sitefinity CMS to the Directus CMS platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up the Directus development environment, leading the migration effort, and troubleshooting any issues that arise during the process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and configure the Directus CMS development environment.
• Migrate website content, data structures, and functionalities from Sitefinity CMS to Directus CMS.
• Ensure data integrity, structure alignment, and feature parity during the migration.
• Identify and resolve any issues or bugs encountered in Directus during the migration process.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless transition with minimal disruption to services.
• Document the migration process, configuration, and post-migration support steps.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven hands-on experience with Directus CMS (v9 or v10 preferred).
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, API integration, and custom schema creation in Directus.
• Experience in content management systems migration, particularly from Sitefinity to another platform.
• Proficient in Node.js, JavaScript, or other relevant backend technologies.
• Familiarity with SQL databases and data transformation best practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Sitefinity CMS and understanding of its architecture.
• Background in web development or full-stack development is a plus.
