Senior Data Engineer (Python)

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong Python programming skills to join our data team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in software and data engineering, with a focus on building robust and scalable data pipelines. This role demands excellent problem-solving abilities, a keen eye for detail, and a collaborative mindset.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in software or data engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python for data-related tasks.
• Proven experience in unit and integration testing to ensure robust code quality.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and Agile development methodologies.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, analytical skills, and a problem-solving attitude.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Ensure high code quality through comprehensive unit and integration testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional data teams to gather requirements and translate them into efficient data engineering solutions.
• Automate data pipeline deployment, monitoring, and alerts.
• Continuously optimize data storage and processing for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data workflows to maintain smooth operations.
