Procurement Engineer

Responsibilities:

· Source and evaluate potential suppliers for Information Communication Technology (ICT) products and services, as well as Installation and Systems Integration services.

· Oversee the end-to-end Tender Process and manage the processing of Purchase Orders, ensuring compliance with Corporate Governance Regulations.

· Manage market bidding and project delivery to ensure the achievement of delivery timelines, quality standards, and cost objectives.

· Perform price analysis and lead purchase and contract negotiations with vendors to secure the best pricing for materials and services.

· Monitor and evaluate supplier performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensure adherence to internal controls across pan-procurement teams, in line with corporate management regulations.

· Ensure departmental KPIs are consistently met and report progress to relevant stakeholders.

· Generate Purchase Orders and process any changes to orders as required.

· Collaborate with various divisions and cross-functional teams to meet procurement objectives.

· Provide regular updates to requestors on the status of materials or services.

· To collaborate and communicate directly with Chinese speaking officers, stakeholders, counterparts, and customers in China HQ team.

· Handle additional procurement-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication/ Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

· Internship or academic project experience in procurement or the ICT industry is a plus.

· No experience required, and training will be provided.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

· A proactive, "Can-Do" attitude and hands-on approach to tasks.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Proficiency in both Mandarin and English is essential to ensure effective communication with the Chinese-speaking stakeholders, including head office, business counterparts, and customers based in China.
