Procurement Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for the delivery, quality, and cost indicators of the company during market bidding and project delivery.
• Maintain a good local supplier ecosystem and establish friendly and cooperative relations with suppliers.
• Align with the company's new business development trend and seek suitable supplier resources in the market.
• Monitor the internal control of pan-procurement personnel according to corporate management regulations.
• To collaborate and communicate directly with Chinese speaking officers, stakeholders, counterparts, and customers in China HQ team.

Requirements:

• Minimum a bachelor degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a corporate procurement role within the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) industry.
• Willingness to undertake frequent international travel for business purposes.
• Proven experience in engineering procurement and framework agreements, managing an annual procurement volume of at least USD $6 million while driving cost optimization.
• Hands-on experience in general procurement categories, including Marketing events and labor outsourcing, with the ability to translate requests into standardized BOQs and execute procurement within deadlines.
• Proven experience in managing a portfolio of 10 suppliers, including conducting quarterly performance evaluations and overseeing annual supplier portfolio management.
• Experience in bidding for integration projects, such as data center projects and telecommunication projects.
• Knowledge of procurement risk control and compliance management.
• Experience in organizing large-scale supplier conferences/events with over 200 attendees.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is essential to ensure effective communication with the Chinese-speaking stakeholders, including head office, business counterparts, and customers based in China.
