IT Procurement Specialist

As an IT Procurement Specialist, you will support end-to-end category management and strategic sourcing activities across the APAC region, reporting directly to the Head of Enterprise Technology Procurement. You will work in close collaboration with APAC category leads, IT infrastructure teams, SMEs, and project managers to manage procurement initiatives, negotiate contracts, and ensure the delivery of cost-effective and high-quality IT goods and services. Your role is vital in driving value and cost savings across all business units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review requisitions, issue RFPs/RFQs, conduct bid analyses, and manage the full tender and contracting process.
• Collaborate with IT Infrastructure Heads, Subject Matter Experts, and Project Managers to execute procurement processes with diligence and transparency.
• Execute sourcing activities in compliance with corporate procurement policies and procedures.
• Conduct supplier financial assessments, establish Purchase Agreements, and lead supplier performance/business reviews.
• Identify, lead, and implement cost-saving initiatives that provide measurable business value.
• Gain a deep understanding of business needs to support market analysis, spend analytics, and category benchmarking.
• Monitor trends in commodity pricing and assess their impact on IT product/service costs.
• Partner with global and regional category leads to develop and execute effective negotiation strategies.
• Prepare periodic reports and dashboards on procurement performance, supplier KPIs, and contract compliance.

Qualifications & Competencies:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
• Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPPM, or CPM are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in procurement, contract management, or vendor management, preferably in the IT domain.
• Strong business acumen and hands-on experience in strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations.
• Proven ability to work in cross-functional, multicultural teams in a global or regional setting.
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Skilled in negotiating complex commercial and contractual terms, including SLAs and KPIs.
• Analytical and results-oriented mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.
