Resident Server Engineer (contract)

About the client:

Our client is a MNC Technology Company.

Location: DC - East and Ayer Rajah

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic troubleshooting on PowerEdge server hardware to identify and resolve issues.
• Assist in logging calls with hardware vendors to ensure timely resolution of hardware issues.
• Escort and assist vendors during break fix activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Help relocate servers within the data center as needed, ensuring proper handling and placement.
• Create and manage data center change requests to facilitate necessary changes and updates.

Requirement:

• Experience with PowerEdge server hardware troubleshooting.
• Strong communication skills to effectively log calls and coordinate with vendors.
• Ability to physically relocate servers within the data center.
• Familiarity with data center operations and change management processes.
• Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying and resolving issues.
