Designated Supplier Quality Representative

The client is a global aerospace manufacturer.

• Comply with internal Quality Management System Requirements.
• Interpret resolution of gauges required to perform dimensional inspection.
• Create Certificate of Conformance (CoC) and maintain records.
• Able to use a variety of precision measuring instruments such as indicator, vernier, OD & ID micrometers, CMM, pi tape, etc.
• Report any non-conformances at final to Production.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to details and complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Occasionally support receiving activities (bonding)
• Review all documents are completed for machined parts, ensure the First Article Inspection (FAI) has been approved by the Customer before issuing a CoC.
• Review and interpret the visual and dimensional results to ensure compliance with Customers’ purchase order and technical drawings/specifications, operations sheets & inspection procedures etc.
• Carry out calibration activities on measuring equipment/ tooling

Qualifications:

• Diploma in aerospace/mechanical engineering
• At least 5 years’ experience performing in- process/ final inspection in aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Experience in the use and reading of measuring instruments.
• Meticulous and attentive to details.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office application.
• Completed AS13100 training.
