Supplier Engineer - BTP (Oil and Gas)

Role Definition:

Supplier Engineer responsible for managing overall supplier manufacturing, operation issues across the supplier base, ensuring process controls are established and maintained throughout the supplier’s entire manufacturing process.

Responsibilities & Deliverables:

Involve in supplier issue resolution.

Work on corrective actions implementation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams during issue resolution.

Develop and propose supplier improvement plans.

Proliferate key learnings and document into BKM wherever applicable.

Assist in the supplier technical audit process and evaluate supplier performance/capability.

Drive continuous improvement opportunities at the supplier.

Education & Experience:

Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 4-5 years in a Supplier Development/Supplier Quality role.

Overall, 8-14 years of experience.

Skills Required & Desired:

Understanding of mechanical parts and assemblies, ability to read/interpret drawings.

Good understanding of various manufacturing processes and dependencies.

Hands-on with problem-solving methodologies, efficient in 8D, CAPA, etc.

Understanding of vacuum and associated components will be an added advantage.

Efficiency in written and oral communication.

Good working level exposure to MS Excel, PowerPoint
